Harassment in the workplace can take many forms: quid pro quo sexual harassment, offensive and abusive remarks, unlawful touching, and many others. An employer has a duty to prevent and eradicate harassment in the workplace, whether by a supervisor or merely a coworker, and must also promptly investigate all claims of harassment.
Any kind of workplace harassment based upon a protected characteristic (sex, race, religion, etc.) is unlawful and should not be tolerated. Call us if you believe you are being unlawfully harassed at work.
